Friday 22nd July

Today I got up and went to the gym whilst Kristine was at her yoga class. In the afternoon we went to Meridian Mall which is fairly close by and spent a couple of hours just chilling out, away from the apartment. There was an Old Navy there which was great, a t-shirt for $3!! After a tasty pretzel and a couple more shops we headed back and I went to Cory’s apartment via a great shop called Hobby Lobby. I have been meaning to go for days and finally went! They have so many nice Halloween and Christmas decorations, I wish I lived here and could have bought some. Cory made a tasty dinner of stroganoff. Our movie wasn’t until later so we spent time flicking from channel to channel and I discovered the US has A LOT of God channels! We also watched some over opinionated news channels. We went to the mall (second time in a couple of hours for me!) and browsed whilst we waited for the movie to start. We saw Friends with Benefits which was very very funny! It also made me miss New York, I love it there so much! The movie finished late and we went back to Cory’s apartment and made a Milky Way bar sandwich. Not quite as good as my Dad’s Mars bad sandwiches but pretty good still. We drank beer and played old school Playstation two games followed by nineties music, it was a very fun night and very great day!
